Mega Druddigon

Finally, it's done! I'm sick of looking at it.

I hope more underrated Pokemon get megas. Anyway, Druddigon here is now king of the caves. While still not capable of full flight, his wings have buffed up essentially into an extra set of arms that can pound through cave walls and foes alike with ease. They also double as a shield when clamped together, a big pointy shield that you probably don't want to run into. He's now dragon/fighting type and trades what was already a bad speed stat for more power and bulk. He suffers from bad nightmares about fairy types, but on occasion there's a happy ending in which he gets to strike first with that iron tail attack that was bred into him...
Tough Claws as an ability because, well, look at him. Made of claws.

The question of whether the design didn't change enough or changed too much has been driving me nuts the whole time. But then every time I thought maybe he looks more like an evo of Druddigon I looked at Mega Heracross and was like "Well.... I didn't change him THAT much...". Official megas seem to range from mainly emphasising the Pokemon's current features to giving some major design change (in both cases adding more subtle changes to most of the other features of its design as well. Oh and also sometimes adding elements from pre-evos...) . I guess this design falls more into the former category.

Expect to see more of Mega Meganium from me at some point soon as I'm revisiting that design... (yay!)
